Clock Timeless Pets has partnered with Mercy Hospice VNS to create a fundraising event for two great causes – hospice and the second being the “Furr-ever Re-Homing Trust”. All too often when people come to the end of their life, they have a pet. Their pet’s life should not have to end just because their pet parent’s does. The goal of this trust is to place a pet in foster care until there is a perfect fit for their “forever” home, where they can live out the rest of their life. If there are no foster families, the pet will NOT be taken to a kill shelter, but placed in a breed specific rescue or a no-kill shelter until a suitable home is found. This event continues to grow and will take on a life of it’s own. Please enjoy the video of the day’s events. Many local pet professionals came out to support the day and showcase their businesses. A huge shout out of tail wags, purrs and thank yous goes out to: Plumbs for donating the food for the picnic, Fur-Crazy Pet Salon, Ebby’s Bakery, Memory Stones by Jodi, Camp Canine and Wolfsong Enterprises, Pet Paradise, and the Muskegon Police K-9 Unit for bringing Rex out to educate us to what Deputy dogs do to better our community. There were many more sponsors and donors who helped make this day a success – on behalf of myself, Clock Funeral Home and Mercy VNS a huge heartfelt thank you!
