With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Baby Girl Vanblargan on June 18, 2026. Baby came into our lives quite unexpectedly in the summer of 2007. She was only eight weeks old at the time, and though we had not been planning to bring an animal into our home, it quickly became clear that she was in need of care and love. Initially, we tried to find another home for her and didn’t know what to call her, so we simply began calling her Baby. That name quickly became a perfect fit as she captured our hearts with her silly clumsiness and uniquely charming personality.

Baby loved nothing more than to lie on my chest and cuddle, always insisting on being at the center of whatever was happening around her. Our mornings began with her faithfully nestled on my lap, sharing coffee and warm moments of affection. Afternoons were spent with Dad, who would be outside cooking pork on the smoker, and Baby never missed the chance to see what was cooking—and to secure herself a tasty treat. She was a dog who adored people, never running or hiding but welcoming every visitor by inviting them in and showing them her treat cupboard.

For nineteen wonderful years, Baby filled our lives with joy, laughter, and unconditional love. Her presence was a gift that brightened countless days, and she leaves behind memories that will be cherished forever. Though Baby is no longer with us physically, the warmth of her spirit and the fond moments we shared will remain in our hearts always.
