Ferguson was deeply loved for 11 years.
He found happiness in sunbeams, eating grass like it was a delicacy, and quiet companionship. He was a devoted fan of wet food and could hear a can open from the next room. Clever and communicative, he once placed socks in his water dish to let his family know it wasn’t fresh enough—ushering in the era of the fountain.
Ferguson made every place he lived feel like home and leaves behind a space that feels quieter without him.
He is survived by his long-time pal, Kitty, with whom he shared 10 years of a loving, mostly tolerant friendship built on side-by-side naps, mutual respect, and the occasional boundary.
He was cherished beyond words. May pet heaven be filled with permanent sunbeams, wet food, and soft blankets.
