Keira was born January 26, 2002 and became ours in March of that year. During her first few weeks with us, she loved to climb into her daddy's work boots -- she was as black as that boot and it was comical to see her little face poking out of the boot top. LOL Keira enjoyed swimming in the summer, plowing through the snow in the winter, laying in the sun whenever and wherever she could find it and let's not forget the many "Girls' Weekends" she spent with her human Momma and the Momma's girlfriends. Keira loved her human family more than anything and would get so excited to play when all the brood was around. The only time she questioned us was the day (who am I kidding -- probably EVERY day since then) we welcomed a chocolate lab "sister" into the family -- her face read, "WHY?!!" ;) Keira was one of the THE BEST dogs EVER and will be greatly missed by her humans and her chocolate lab sissy.
