Obituary

URO2 WhiteHarbor So In Luv CGC, RN, RA "Sophie LuAnn" left the physical world January 5, 2015 after a courageous fight against multiple endocrine neoplasia. She was born July 13, 2003 at WhiteHarbor Shelties in Twin Lake, MI. My first words when I saw the newborn puppy were "Oh my God, I love the neck at that one!" Her breeder, my mentor and friend responded with "Do you want her? That one can be your girl." And so it was destined to be that she would be mine, my So In Luv. On July 4, 2005 Sophie gave birth via C-section to the first ever litter for WinRock Shelties. She is survived by her sons from that litter, WinRock I Luv A Rainy Night (Singer Walker) and WinRock A Lil Luv So True (Truman) who resided his entire life at home with his dam. Sophie is also survived by pack members WinRock Kyrie Twice The Spice (Ginger) and WinRock He's MY Brother (Spencer) whom she spent much time "fetching up" and "protecting". She is also survived by special human family members Gramma & Ronald Bouchard, and special friends, Aunt Gail Jelier, Aunt Sue Ledford, Aunt Kris Larsen and Aunt Tracy Walker. Sophie was preceded in death by a son WinRock Only A Memory (Emmett) at birth, former Sheltie housemates, Emma Sue in 2004, Rocky Peanut in 2006 and Quaker Parakeet Freeman Bird in 2009. Sophie was the healing balm for her owner during of each of these difficult losses. Sophie was known as the "Mistress of Mischief" for antics such as climbing up to the roof of the garage, breaking out of the travel trailer to "go visiting" and getting herself locked in the oven while scrounging for crumbs and drippings. She was an elegant, kind dog who was rarely grouchy with any other living being. Sophie was known to have an opinion about everything and would not hesitate to "discuss" her views with a vocabulary of heavy sighs, moans, groans, and barks along with the requisite eye rolls and nose in the air. The titles listed in her name are awards she earned competing with her mom in Rally Obedience competition both in AKC and UKC as well as having earned the AKC Canine Good Citizen title. However, Sophie is most loved for the legacy she leaves behind as an outstanding mother, co-pack member and faithful, loyal companion. She will be loved always and missed for ever. Rest In Peace my sweet Sophia, Pixie Princess. Visitation No Visitation Scheduled or Private Service No Service Scheduled or Private
